“He’s woke a new person up”

British lightweight Muay Thai contender George Jarvis of England is looking to silence his critics at ONE Fight Night 41

This Friday, March 13, he’ll be looking to prove a point against fellow former ONE world title challenger Sinsamut Klinmee in the main event of the Bangkok card at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium.

‘G-Unit’ tore through the lightweight Muay Thai ranks with lethal precision. His timing, precision, and knockout power led him to a four-fight winning streak and a shot at gold.

However, ONE lightweight Muay Thai world champion, Regian Eersel, gave him a rude awakening.

‘The Immortal’ stopped the streaking challenger in just one round at ONE Fight Night 34 last August, ending his title dreams.

That painful setback was a tough pill to swallow for Jarvis. However, the 25-year-old Lumpini Crawley standout admitted it changed him for the better.

He told ONE Championship ahead of his return at ONE Fight Night 41:

“So, if anything, I can say thank you to Regian, because he’s woke a new person up.”

Jarvis refuses to be defined by his shortcomings and vows to bounce back stronger. Standing in his way is a stiff challenge.

Like Jarvis, ‘Aquaman’ brings dangerous finishing instincts and the same hunger to avenge earlier losses to Eersel.

George Jarvis respects Sinsamut’s fight-ending power

George Jarvis knows he cannot afford to let his guard down against Sinsamut even for one second.

After all, ‘Aquaman’ is one of the most dangerous finishers in the promotion.

“Sinsamut is a very, very good all-rounded fighter. Obviously, he’s a Thai fighter, so he comes with that traditional Muay Thai style. But he mixes it up well,” ‘G-Unit’ told ONE.

“He’s had a good few knockouts, so he’s obviously got power. But anyone’s got power in them [4-ounce] gloves. You only gotta get touched in them gloves, and it’s ‘Good Night, Irene’ as they used to say.”

ONE Fight Night 41 airs live in U.S. primetime. North American fans can stream the entire card free with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
