Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy appeared to be enjoying the Washington Commanders vs. Dallas Cowboys matchup on Christmas Day. After the Cowboys scored on three straight drives, McCoy appeared to hammer the Commanders’ defense while praising Dallas.

“Man I’m enjoying the TRASH BOWL… great game Cowboys came to play,” McCoy tweeted on Thursday.

The Cowboys entered Week 17 with a 6-8-1 record. They got eliminated from playoff contention after suffering three straight losses.

Earlier this week, LeSean McCoy said that he still wasn’t convinced by Trevor Lawrence after the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback led his team to a 34-20 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 16.

“The problem is you guys are prisoners of the moment. Every time something good happens, you have to jump on a bandwagon,” McCoy said on his “Speakeasy” show on Sunday. “I don’t do that. The thing with Trevor Lawrence is this: he’s the type of guy where he could be top 15 most trashiest quarterbacks in the league, and then on the very next half of the year, he can be a top 10 quarterback in the league.

“And it’s like, how do you grade that? Because you grade people that’s consistent, and he’s never consistent. So right now, he’s on his great run. But if I told you to get to the playoffs and he stinks it up, you won’t be surprised. So the problem with Trevor Lawrence is he’s never consistent. You can’t be a top 10 bad quarterback, and then be top 10 Best. It just, it’s, it’s hard to grade.”

Lawrence and the Jaguars (11-4) have already clinched a playoff berth. Jacksonville is on a six-game win streak heading into its Week 17 clash against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
