On the TNA Thursday Night iMPACT, a WWE ring announcer was in attendance. The taped episode of March 5th was from Atlanta. It had major guests in attendance, like reality TV star Mama June. Along with her was the former SmackDown full-time ring announcer, who is now part-time.
The legendary announcer in question here is Lilian Garcia. The 59-year-old announcing veteran was at the TNA tapings and was broadcast very famously. She was not involved in any talk segment or of any sort, but just her presence was acknowledged by a camera panning to her, showing the stars in attendance.
Thanks for the submission!
In March 2024 and October 2024, she was the ring announcer instead of Samantha Irvin. Later in early 2025, she switched roles with Alicia Taylor, serving as the SmackDown ring announcer. However, she then decided to announce the Saturday Night’s Main Event shows and some special events. Her last two appearances in WWE were at Worlds Collide, a WWE-AAA collaboration show in June 2025. While a last one at Evolution, an all-women PLE.
WWE NXT star Arianna Grace wrestled on TNA iMPACT
The second-generation star Arianna Grace was scheduled for her first title defense. It is worth noting that the originally contracted Arianna is an NXT star. However, her TNA presence stems from her status as the reigning TNA Knockouts World Champion. She won the title from Lei Yeng Lee last month at TNA No Surrender. Ever since then, this week on iMPACT was her first title match, against Jody Threat.
The March 5th episode of iMPACT began with that match. Grace’s advantage was that her fiancé, Stacks, was by her side and helped her throughout. Although Threat took him out once, it was, but the distractions were already enough. Arianna took advantage of Jody’s injured ribs and retained her championship.
