PRIVACY & TRANSPARENCY

Privacy & your data.

This notice describes the live publication, reader preferences, newsletter interest registration and owner editing.

Saved stories stay on your device

The saved-story feature uses your browser’s local storage. Saved stories are separate from your member account, does not sync across devices, and can disappear when browser data is cleared. Your theme preference is also stored locally. You can remove these preferences using your browser’s site-data controls.

Publication data

Our database stores source-based article records and publishing audit information. That includes publication states and workflow outcomes used to understand whether automated processes succeeded. We store your account email, optional display name, sign-in token hashes and membership references. Stripe processes payments; CDN News does not store your card number. Newsletter email addresses, consent and edition preferences are stored when you opt in.

Hosting and access

CDN News is a public publication hosted on managed Cloudflare infrastructure. Reader accounts use direct email sign-in. Resend delivers transactional sign-in emails. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and sessions expire after 30 days. A secure, HttpOnly cookie maintains your signed-in session. The hosting and authentication providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service under their own terms. This notice does not claim that those providers keep no technical logs.

Analytics and advertising

No third-party advertising trackers or analytics packages have been installed in this preview. If measurement tools are added, this notice and any necessary choices will be updated before those tools are enabled.

External sources

Following an article’s source link takes you to another website. Its privacy practices and storage controls are independent of CDN News. We link to outside sources so you can inspect the evidence; we do not control those sites.

Use the correction form below to submit an article-specific issue to the owner’s review queue. It does not request an email address, and we do not promise a response time. Messages are stored in our publication database for owner review until addressed and removed. Do not submit sensitive personal information.

When the channel opens, a useful correction request should include the article URL, the passage in question, what appears incorrect, and a link to supporting evidence. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.
